  | Public Works Crew Leader | Public Works Crew Leader is responsible for: under the direction of the public works director, lead and direct other public work employees in the reading of residential and commercial water meters and record water consumption; identifying water meter equipment problems and performing water meter maintenance; provide and lead in the routine preventative maintenance and repairs on the city water and waste water facilities and equipment; perform a variety of skilled maintenance work, and operating a variety of equipment in the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of city streets and street drainage projects. The crew leader is expected to provide leadership and expertise to other public works employees and be able to make good decisions and provide clear directions related to most routine work orders and projects consistent with departmental procedures, City policies, safety requirements and the directions provided by the Director of Public Works. |
