Responsibilities The Patrol Division is responsible for responding to calls for service throughout the Civic City metro area. Patrol cars are dispatched in seven beats throughout the city, and the officers handle criminal complaints and traffic accidents within their assigned areas.
Patrol Units The patrol officers employ 12-hour shifts with an overlapping schedule, which allows for complete coverage of all seven city beats during the transitions between shifts.
